Terms of Trade
Issued by Unovent® by Hometech Limited: This Terms and Conditions document governs the use of the Unovent Limited Web Store Service. This Agreement can be accessed at any time from the footer of any page of the website. By using the site, you are accepting the following terms and conditions.

Acceptance of Terms
When you access this site, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms described below. If you do not agree to the terms discussed here, you should exit the site and refrain from placing any order.

Contract, Payment and Delivery
Orders will be accepted by Unovent by Hometech Limited, for delivery in New Zealand only. Payment is to be made in NZ currency. Any contract arising from this site is governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Product Availability
Products may be added to or removed from the website from time to time. While we do not accept liability for any loss arising, every effort will be made to keep the information up to date and accurate. All product and component photos throughout this website and within any downloadable or supplied guides are for illustrative purposes only and colours, shapes and components used in the supplied product may change at any time but retain the same or improved functionality of the items illustrated.

All prices in the shopping areas are in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and are GST inclusive. The freight charges are added later at the checkout area and payment section of the online shop. Prices may increase or decrease from time to time. Prices shown at the time of purchase are the prices you will pay. You must pay by Mastercard, Visa, or Internet Banking. We will not accept cheques or cash as a method of payment or on delivery.

Products displayed on the Unovent by Hometech Limited shopping site can be purchased using secure Online BNZ Bank New Zealand merchant services in combination with DPS Payment Express. DPS is our e-commerce solution; DPS is one of New Zealand’s largest e-commerce gateway providers, providing you secure transaction processing for Visa, Mastercard, Q Mastercard,  Q Card or Internet Banking. Your transaction and credit card details are not entered or recorded on our Web Site, you will be seamlessly transferred to the DPS encrypted secure service to enter your Credit Card details for processing. Once we receive confirmation from BNZ Bank New Zealand that your transaction has been approved, we will then process your order and ship your goods.

Unovent® by Hometech Limited is associated with DPS, New Zealandʼs largest and most preferred payment gateway provider. Unovent Limited do not collect or store any credit card information. This information is all processed by DPS. When making a purchase you will be directed to a secure webpage hosted by DPS to enter your payment details.

We use the secure Hosted Payment page solution from DPS to process online orders. Customers can see their cards or their internet banking payment being authorized and debited in real time, all in an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) environment. DPS is committed to protecting the security of your data.

Our delivery service is prompt and efficient and we have identified a range of best value courier, freight and postal services from which we choose. We will notify you when goods are dispatched and in any instance where there is a known delay.  Typically we despatch kitset orders on the next business day after purchasing or on the Tuesday after weekend purchases.  In some instances, due to demand spikes, we despatch kitset orders one or two business days after that. We can only deliver to a physical address, not a PO Box, Hotel or Motel address. Delivery charges will be added to each order and shown as a separate item before you chose to enter your payment details and send the order to be processed.
A faster delivery service may be available by request (subject to availability) but at an extra cost. Please contact us by phone if this is an option you are interested in.
Should you feel that your goods do not arrive in good condition, please feel free to contact us. Claims for non-delivery must be made within 10 days of order, as tracking beyond this time is not practical. We are not responsible for loss or damage to goods that are delivered to an incorrectly supplied address.

Title and Risk
Goods are at our risk until delivered to the address given for your purchase.

Change of Mind Returns Policy
While the Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act provide the basis for Unovent Limited’s returns policy, we in fact go above and beyond the expectation of these two statutory laws.  Unovent by Hometech Limited has a 14-day Money Back Guarantee with printed proof of purchase.  For a product to be returned under our policy, that product must be in a resalable condition, unless faulty or otherwise defective in which case our Lifetime Warranty conditions apply.  This policy provides you peace of mind while making an online Unovent® kitset purchase through the Unovent Limited website.  We will notify you via e-mail of the status of the replacement or refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase after we have received your return.

10 Year Warranty
Unovent® has a 10 year warranty which unconditionally covers all aspects of the Unovent Limited supplied components. Any replacements or refunds requested are negotiated by exchange of emails between customer and Unovent and are granted in all reasonable situations after the return of the supplied components. Under our guarantee, faulty components that meet our conditions of care and use will be repaired, replaced or a refund will be issued at Unovent Limited discretion. In all situations, after prior communication with Unovent Limited, the suspected faulty component must be returned to Unovent Limited by the customer and the cost of the freight, postage or courier charge will be reimbursed by Unovent Limited to the customer.

Unovent Limited will repair or replace any components, which fail to comply with Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Where the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply, these terms will be read subject to the application of that Act, and in the case of any conflict, the provisions of that Act will apply. Please note that the guarantee does not cover faults arising from:

• Accidental damage or mistreatment

• Rodent damage

• Damage caused by acts of nature such as but not limited to the results of lightning, flooding and electricity supply abnormal power surges or spikes

• Any 240 volt wiring installation incorrectly carried out and not carried out in accordance with the New Zealand Wiring Regulations and not carried out by a registered electrician

In sound labaratory conditions, for Unovent® room outlets, the sound level measured at the room outlets is 14 dB(A).

It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure that any 240 volt wiring installation and power outlet installation be carried out by a registered electrician.  

Claims for non-delivery must be made within 10 days of order, as tracking beyond this time is not practical.

Limitation of Liability
Unovent® by Hometech Limited are not liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or loss of profit arising out of the use, or the inability to use, the products on this site. This includes but is not limited to the loss of data or loss of profit, even if Unovent® by Hometech Limited was advised of the possibility of such damages.

Use of the Web Store Service by You
Your right to use the Web Store Service is personal to you. You may not authorise others to use the Service, and you are responsible for all of your own use of the Web Store Service. You may not download, modify, transmit, or otherwise use any material from the Web Store Service for public or commercial purposes.
